styles and trials

I get it I understand that I am "out of touch" with the "new" styles the new way of thinking. I am fully aware of the fact that I have prejudices ingrained into my character from times gone past. I grasp the concept that what is not appealing to me is vastly appealing to younger people. And lastly I know that I am only "right" as it pertains to me but...

I am so sick of the ubiquitous "thug/gang" visuals in styles and in speech and in the arts. It has begun to feed on the very persons that lap it up like kittens licking sweet cream. It has become fashionable to these unfortunate individuals to thwart their education in favor of being a one among many instead of a stand out that leads and becomes more than the others. In the past year I have had several encounters with the people that result from this lack of belief in educating oneself. People that can not count back change to a customer, people that think all they need do is want a thing and it will be theirs and if it does not become theirs they can take it from another that has it. Was I asleep when this change in thought occurred?

Sorry must go will return later...
